What You Missed on RAW 10/31/16 and SmackDown Live 11/01/16

On Monday RAW emanated from the XL center in Hartford, CT. and Tuesday’s SmackDown Live came from Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. With Survivor Series on the horizon how will both brands fill their sides of the three different five on five traditional Survivor Series matches.

RAW: Battle Royal

Braun Strowman won a battle royal to be on the RAW side of the Men’s Survivor Series match.

SD Live: Bryan on Miz TV

The Miz’s guest was SD General Manager Daniel Bryan, and he revealed all five of the SmackDown men’s team members. After the announcement, Dolph Ziggler defended his Intercontinental Championship in an open challenge.

RAW: The List of Jericho will not grow tonight

Much to the chagrin of Hartford, Jericho let it be known that no one there was worthy to be included on The List of Jericho.

SD Live: Dean’s last chance

Dean Ambrose was allowed one final chance to become the number one contender to AJ Styles’ WWE World Championship, after James Elsworth accidentally cost him his match last week.

RAW: Jackhammer for The Bulgarian Brute

Goldberg called out Brock Lesnar, but got his advocate Paul Heyman instead. Rusev came out before Goldberg could shove his fist down Heyman’s throat. Goldberg gave him a jackhammer for his trouble, before laying Heyman out with a spear for good measure.

Bonus: RAW is Halloween

The New Day dissed SmackDown Live’s Tag Team for Survivor Series, while dressed as three different gimmicks of  Charles Wright. Big E as Kama Mustafa, Xavier Woods as Pappa Shango, and Kofi Kingston as The Godfather.

While both shows were worried about Survivor Series, SmackDown Live also furthered their own storylines I am giving them the win this week. Next time we should get the final man for the RAW Men’s match and hopefully some more tag teams for both sides. As always you can follow me @ManCalledStump. I live tweet RAW and SmackDown Live when I don’t have to work.
